The following Privacy Policy outlines the information International Crypto-currency Charitable Foundation “HelpCoin”, a Ukraine non-profit charitable organization (the “Fund”) may collect and how we may use that information to better serve its visitors and members charity process using Charitable Platform “HelpCoin” (the “Platform”) based in the https://helpcoin.io. Information We Collect

When registering for an account and/or using our services Platform, we may ask that you provide us with some personally identifiable information – information about you that can be used to contact or identify you, and information on your use /or potential use of the services Platform. Personal Information that we may collect include, FBUID (for verification through Facebook) and email address. In some cases, for example, a request for charitable assistance, we may request more detailed personal data, such as: Name, Surname, date of birth, phone number, address of residence and a scan of a copy of identity documents and confirming the need for targeted charitable assistance. In other cases, we do not ask but admit the possibility of voluntarily publicate the Name, Surname, Country and City of residence.

If you submit Personal Information to us through the Platform interfaces, then we may use your personal information to operate, maintain, and provide to you the features and functionality of the Platform.

We may employ third party companies or individuals to process Personal Information on our behalf based on our instructions and in compliance with this Privacy Policy. For example, we may share data with a security consultant to help us get better at identifying spam or with third party analytics providers to optimize our site. In addition, some of the information we request may be collected by third party providers on our behalf.

We do not use your phone number or email address or other Personal Information to send commercial or marketing messages without your consent or except as part of a specific program or feature for which you will have the ability to opt-in or opt-out. We may, however, use your email address without further consent for non-marketing or administrative purposes (such as notifying you of major service changes or for customer service purposes or for implementing charity process).

We, and any authorized third party analytics providers may collect and may use both your Personal Information and certain non-personally-identifiable information (such as anonymous User usage data, cookies, IP addresses, browser type, clickstream data, etc.) for the following purposes:

  • Improving the quality of user service through the interfaces of the Platform
  • Optimization of information provided on the Funds website
  • compliance with applicable laws and regulations of Ukraine
  • creation of new functions, promotions and other services by storing, tracking and analyzing the preferences and trends of the User.

We, and any authorized third party analytics providers may use cookies and log file information to:

  • monitor individual and aggregate metrics such as total number of visitors, pages viewed, etc.
  • track your logins, entries, submissions, views and such.

We, and any authorized third party analytics providers may utilize session ID cookies to enable certain features of the Platform. Session ID cookies are typically deleted from your computer when you log off from the application and then close your browser.

For these purposes, when you use services of the our Platform, our servers may automatically record information that your mobile phone/device sends or transmits, including, but not limited to, your phone’s device ID number, user settings, location (if you consent to that) and information about your use of the Services, and record information derived from such information and other sources. We also may be given such information from our third party analytics providers, affiliated partner(s), commercial and charitable organizations provided on behalf of, or provided in partnership with (“Affiliated Partners”). If we accept this information with our Affiliated Partners, we will require in our agreements with our Affiliated Partners that this information will not be transferred to the Fund without the actual user’s consent. However, we will not be liable or responsible for the Affiliated Partners’ compliance with these agreements.

In order to provide any location-based Services related to your use of a Platform application, Fund and/or its Affiliated Partners may collect, use, and share with us precise location data, including the real-time geographic location of your mobile device. This location data is collected anonymously in a form that does not personally identify you and is used by Fund to provide and improve the Services and comply with any applicable laws and regulations. For example, we may share geographic location data with partners to improve the charitable process for a particular charitable organization according to its geographical location.

How We Use Your Information

We mainly use your Personal Data to authorize and provide access to the functional services of the Platform in order to ensure a charity process when using the services of the Platform. We will send you information related to the charity process in order to inform you of the need for certain actions using the Platform’s interfaces and / or the occurrence of certain events of the charity process related to you.

Anonymized Personal Data we use to enhance the value of information posted on the Platform’s website. We use this information to closely monitor which areas of the website are used most often and to determine which areas we need to improve. This information is used exclusively by the Fund so that we can continue to increase the value of the Services provided by our Platform and improve information about the Services for our users in general.

We also use your Personal Data obtained with your permission from Twitter and / or Facebook social networks to analyze your activity regarding the Found’s publications on these social networks. In particular, we can track the likes, reposts and retweets of our publications to ensure your participation in the marketing and charity programs conducted by the Fund.

As a valued user of Services, we may occasionally contact you, typically by e-mail (or any other way you prefer) in order to notify you of special promotions, and up-to-date news. Of course, if you do not wish to receive this personalized information, you can remove yourself from receiving such information by changing the appropriate option in your user account.

The Fund uses your Internet Protocol (IP) address to help diagnose problems with our computer server, and to administer our website. Your IP address is used to help identify you, and to gather broad demographic data, as well as assist in compliance with any applicable laws or regulations the Fund is subject to. Your IP address contains no personal information about you.

Our Disclosure of Your Information

Except as described above, we will not monitor, edit or disclose any Personal Information about you or your account, without your prior consent unless we have a belief that such action is necessary to:

  • compliance with the current legal process or other legal requirements of any state body of Ukraine
  • to protect intellectual property or related rights of the Found
  • enforcing our Terms of Service (https://helpcoin.io/en/terms)
  • protect the interests of users of the Platform, except you or any other person.

Aggregated and anonymized data may be transferred to a third party for the purpose of analysis and optimization of advertising materials aimed at attracting new users. Such data includes referral statistics, time spent on the site, referral source and other non-personalized data that cannot disclose information for you either.

The Platform’s interfaces provide deanonymization of the account at your request, you must understand that in this case you voluntarily disclose your personal data and make it publicly available, be careful when disclosing your own personal data using the Platform’s interfaces, remember that in this case the Fund is not responsible for unlawful use by third parties of your Personal Data that you voluntarily made publicly available.

The Platform site may also contains links to other web sites. Fund is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such web sites.

Security

The Personal Information we collect is securely stored within our database, and we use standard, industry-wide practices such as encryption, firewalls and (in some certain areas) SSL (Secure Socket Layers) for protecting your information. However, as effective as encryption technology is, no security system is impenetrable. We cannot guarantee the security of our database, nor can we guarantee that information you supply won’t be intercepted while being transmitted to us over the Internet. We recommend that you not disclose your password to anyone.
